To Whom It May Concern:
Another fully productive visit! Wow! This visit we updated our books and transferred the entire year from our new POS, which is finally up to snuff, to our GSM files and Quickbooks. We had our software provider write us a new program to give us the ability to put all our reports in an Excel format. We mastered altering those reports into the form we needed for easy interpretation. We analyzed our budget and variance and found we were hitting our goals again! It is amazing how accurate our favorite GSM staff member is in predicting our future success! I can't wait to see the results at the end of the year.
We also identified and trained two new managers. We met with each of them individually, discussed their new job descriptions that our favorite GSM staff member devised, described their new evaluation criteria, and went right to work training them. We now have a "Visual Manager" and "Operations Manager" who will work together on our Inventory and Advertising Matrix. In 2004 our favorite GSM staff member devised a very detailed Inventory System that would allow us to track sales, COGS, turns, and profit margins. Using this system we would run like a well oiled machine. Unfortunately, Vince & I did not have time to keep it up. This is a great opportunity to finally have staff dedicated to this wonderful tool. We explained to them that upon our favorite GSM staff member's return, we will reevaluate their progress.
Once again our favorite staff member refined and perfected our business and put our minds at ease! This year I have been able to remodel our house, take several short vacations and spend more time with my daughter. Not only have you made my business more profitable but you have saved me from burn out and I am signing another 5 year lease! All this has been possible for me because of the George S May Company. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and will continue to sing your praises to every business owner I know.
